Tiranga Memorial, also known as Netaji Flag Hoisting Memorial, is one of the best places to visit in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It is a significant historical site since it was here that Subash Chandra Bose raised the Indian Tricolor and declared the islands a free country in 1943. At Netaji Stadium, major football and cricket events are held, and tourists may go on history tours, see Clock Towers, Netaji Club Ground, and many other Andaman tourist attractions.

What is the best way to get to Flag Point (Tiranga Memorial)?

Tiranga Memorial is located approximately 3 kilometres from the city centre, on the way to Corbyn's Cove via Marina Park. The property is close to a beautiful coastline and is easily accessible by road (hire a cab, autorickshaw, or two-wheeler). There is plenty of parking nearby. You may walk from Marina Park to the memorial and return if you want a long walk with a view of the sea. On the route, you'll pass by some hotels and food trucks.
