The beach in Kalapathar is a long stretch of white silky sand with large black rocks jutting out into the turquoise water. It is an extension of beach No. 5 and is located on one of Havelock's corners. In high season, the beach may get busy, but if you stroll further south, you'll find yourself absolutely alone. There is a little lodge road through the verdant woods that leads to a quiet beach that was previously an elephant training camp.

The water is safe to swim in and is not impacted by the tides. Take caution when entering the sea because there are some rocks and corals. A few umbrellas and wooden chairs are available in Kalapathar.

In the shade of the trees, there is a modest picnic area with garbage cans. Locals offer fresh coconuts and mango drinks throughout the season, but there are no additional amenities.

What is the best way to get to Kalapathar Beach?

Kala Pathar beach is located on Havelock's south-eastern shore, approximately 6.5 kilometres from the Havelock jetty. The majority of the resorts and eateries are located along this path. You may get to the beach quickly by taking a taxi, vehicle, or two-wheeler (daily rentals). It is simpler to drive to and from in the same car because you may not be able to arrange transportation from there. The walk to the beach is beautiful.
